Training: Uni Pod Festival
Soundtruism organises the Uni Pod Festival now into its 4th year which partners with UK universities and sixth form/FE colleges to connect high-profile podcast industry players with media/comms/journalism students, to inspire and upskill next-gen creators.
Our founder, Nina Robinson also offers one-day podcast masterclass workshops for clients interested in starting a podcast or feedback on a podcast they already have.
Key figures from UK podcasting have attended Uni Pod Festival which in 2025 was sponsored by BBC Sounds and Amazon Music. Uni Pod’s USP is to platform diverse voices. In 2025 we focused on gender equity issues at the top of UK podcasting; in 2024 we welcomed George The Poet for a tribute to Benjamin Zephaniah. In 2023 we heard from Marcus Ryder for a panel talk on ‘decolonising podcasting’ and our 2025 headliner was the Black feminist and author, Kelechi Okafor.
